Every Sunday, we gather at Simon Kenton High School at 10:30 for a Celebration Service. Why do we call it a “Celebration Service?” because it is an opportunity to celebrate and worship our God! |

What to Expect The only thing we ask of you is simple | relax. Whether you’re a seasoned church veteran or you’ve never been to church before, you can expect an encouraging and enlightening experience. Our services are designed to be relevant, enjoyable, and meaningful. We have a passion for the arts so music, drama, and media are a big way in which we communicate. |

Why be creative? The first five words of the Bible are “In the beginning, God created.” The first attribute of God we are introduced to is His creativity. If you take a look at any part of creation, it is a testament to His creativity. He created the mountains, canyons, and all the beauty that we see. He created music. What’s more, He created people in His own image. In other words, He made us as creative beings and has given us the tools to create as well. The celebration service is an opportunity (not the only one!) for God’s people to be creative. We strongly believe that all of the arts – music, video, drama, photography, teaching, etc. can and do honor God when it is done for Him. This is why we try to incorporate all of these into our services at different times. |
Why do you think that we emphasize the celebration service and cell groups? As Christ-followers, we believe that God is far away and that He is also here. Our cell groups focus on the fact that God is with us, that He is close, and that He can be found in our relationships. The celebration service focuses on the vastness and hugeness of God. Sure, God is here among us but He is also seated on His throne in heaven. He is to be worshipped. The celebration service is about focusing on God and God alone. |
