Why cell?
Cell groups turn complete strangers into family. There is no way to be anonymous in a cell group.
Cell groups are fun. You have never had so many opportunities to interact with people than when you are part of a cell.
Cell groups make you improve. As iron sharpens iron, cell group members challenge and encourage one another.
Cell groups are real. Leave your mask at home, relax and be yourself. “I struggle with that too”, is a common phrase in a cell group. You will get to know your fellow cell members as they really are as you meet in their homes and listen to their defeats and triumphs.
Meet real people
Improve your prayer life
To be held accountable
To share God with your community
To become a Christ follower
Help when you want it
What are Cell Groups?
Small communities discovering and living out their faith together.
Cell groups are the core of our community and the Sunday celebration is a thanks to God for what we have in our cell groups.
How involved is it?
Each group gathers in homes weekly for prayer, discussion, fellowship, etc. Even though most meetings are two hours, participation in a cell group requires a willingness to spend time with others throughout the week.
How are the groups divided?
We are “one in Christ”, so our groups are completely integrated. They are not divided by age, gender, class, marital status or any other criteria. The only way they are separated is by the communities they serve and the time they meet.
Which Group Should I Choose?
Being one in Christ means we have to find ways to relate to people we normally would not. One way to do this is to allow God to choose our friends.
May we suggest choosing a group based on location and meeting time and resolve to build relationships with whomever may be in that group. If, however, you are comfortable with a particular group then please feel free to start with that group.
Are Children Welcome?
Children are as much a part of the cell as anyone else, but each cell serves children differently. We suggest you choose a cell and work with the cell members to engage and accommodate your children. Since adults have more control over their schedules they should accommodate the needs of children.
How do I get started?
Choose a cell by time and location, then call the cell leader to find out what home the group is currently meeting in. The cell leader will tell the host to be expecting you.
Going to a strange place to meet strangers can be uncomfortable so our cell leaders are more than willing to meet you for lunch or dinner if you so desire.
There are no cell groups convenient to me.
